Pocket Tools Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Pocket Tools is an Android app by Onova Tech ("we", "us"). In short: the tools work entirely on your device, we don't collect any personal data, and the only data that leaves your device is what Google's advertising service uses to show ads.
1. Information that stays on your device
- Your settings (theme and language), favorites, recently used tools, and tool values such as the counter and the ruler calibration.
- How many tools you opened today, used only to decide when to show an ad. This count resets every day.
This data is kept only in the app's private storage, protected by Android's app sandbox. We never receive it. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
2. Device features
Some tools may use your device's hardware, such as sensors, the camera, the microphone or location. These readings are processed on your device, in real time, and are never sent to us or to anyone else. When a tool needs a permission, the app asks for it when you open that tool. You can refuse, and the rest of the app keeps working.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: at most one full-screen ad for every three tools you open in a day, and never while a tool is in use. To show ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK in the app may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID and app set ID;
- your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location;
- information about your device and the app, such as the model, system version and language;
- your interactions with ads, such as whether an ad was seen or tapped, and information about ad performance.
Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, to personalize them where allowed, and to prevent fraud. It goes to Google, not to us; we only see aggregated reports, such as how many ads were shown. Learn how Google uses information from apps that use its services, and read the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Your choices
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before your data is used for personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- Anywhere, you can delete or reset your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings (on most devices: Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Without an internet connection, every tool keeps working and no ads are requested.
5. Crash and performance statistics
If you allowed your device to share usage and diagnostics data with Google, Google Play may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics about crashes and app performance. We use them only to fix problems. The app itself contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools.
6. Sharing and selling
We don't sell, rent or share personal data, and we have no servers that receive any. The only third party involved is Google, as described above.
7. Children
Pocket Tools is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads in the app are limited to content suitable for general audiences with parental guidance (PG).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the LGPD in Brazil or the GDPR in Europe), you have rights over your personal data, such as access, correction and deletion. Because we don't hold any of your personal data, everything the app stores can be deleted by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. For data that Google processes for ads, use Google's tools described above. You can also contact us with any question.
9. Changes
We'll update this page when the app changes how it handles data, and change the date at the top.
